Today's Bible Reading- Hosea Chapters 5-10.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 78°, sunny with some clouds, 20% chance of rain, excellent air quality, winds are currently from the east northeast at 13 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 89%.
Yesterday was productive! I gotta tell ya, the Lord really helped me out yesterday. I balanced the ledgers, went to the post office, went to the pet store where the Lord pointed me down the fish aisle and straight to food for plecos! That was awesome. I also found some chicken and pumpkin food for Gracie.
Then, I went home and Mom called the industrial supply place. They do sell to the general public and they took our order over the phone. Very friendly people! We'll get the order either today or tomorrow. It depends on when they can get it from the warehouse in the next big city over.
We got some lunch out since both of us were starved like crazy. It was delicious.
Um, let's see. What else? I started on laundry. I was going to do just regular laundry, but Gracie did a big puke on my bed, her bed and my body pillow. So, the sheets needed changed and the pillow and her bed washed. She's been quite pukey lately. Not sure why unless she's working on some big hairballs. I noticed this morning when I was petting her that she's getting her winter coat in.
Doing laundry now requires me to be around to hear the washer when it malfunctions. Also, I've found that the water spickets where the water hookups are for the washer are leaking. Wonderful. Probably why the water bill was so high. I showed it to Pop last night. He's going to fix it on Saturday. So, to help with the leak, I have turned off the water in the laundry room, and I'll only turn it on to use the washer. It's still leaking a little bit, but not as bad. Maybe our next water bill will be lower. I hope so.
Anyhoo. Supper was late last night. Pop didn't get home until after 7:00, so supper was near 7:30. I made buttermilk waffles, buttermilk syrup, scrambled eggs with pepper and onion and cheese on top, and I had two flavors of chicken sausage links: apple maple and country style. The latter was a bit spicy, but the apple maple flavor was pretty decent. Mom preferred the country style.
It's tough having supper so late, but you have to go with the flow sometimes.
I also have 28 out of 30 menu ideas for my rotating menu. Make that 30. A lot of the meals are meals I've already made. A few new dishes that, if they don't work out, I can find something else.
Today, I'll be balancing ledgers, working on laundry, and supper tonight will be fajitas. There's also the waiting on the pipe to come in. The Lord really worked that one out! Thanks, God!
So, now the only thing we need for the greenhouse is the film. I can get that this weekend at the home improvement store. Then we can work on getting it built! I'm super excited about it, too. Just in time for cooler weather.
That's all I have for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
