Today's Bible Reading- Jeremiah Chapters 35-37
August's Memory Verse- John 10:27-30
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. I overslept! Anyhoo. Our forecast for today: 84°, mostly sunny, no rain, winds from the east northeast at 3-10 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 90%.
What a beautiful day it was yesterday. I completely forgot about the clothes in the dryer. Oops. Forgot about them until just now, actually. I'll have to deal with that. They're going to be super wrinkly.
I also have a bunch of bills to do today. I have the small stack of them sitting on my desk here, waiting for me to send them out. Ledgers need balanced as well.
It's trash day, so I have some yard things that need picked up and tossed. Our scale needs trashed today. The batteries leaked on the inside of it. Honestly, we don't need a scale that requires batteries. We just need one with big enough numbers that we can read! I wonder if Ollie's has scales. Hmm.
I need to look at the weather and see what the sales papers have. I need to get the menu planned for next week and get the grocery list going.
In other words, I have lots of things I need to do. Supper will be, I think, meatloaf, mashed potatoes and peas. It's quite a bit cooler than it has been, so I think a nice hot plate of meatloaf will be tasty! We haven't had that in a while anyways. The last time we had meatloaf, I had a bad gallbladder attack. Since I'm sans gallbladder now, maybe it won't be so bad. Facing fears!
Okay. That's all for now, peeps. Gracie wants attention and I need to get around. Lots of things to do today. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
