Mario Badescu is a brand I love. I love, love their facial mists. It's one of my favorites. And I've always wanted to try their other products, being the skin care buff that I am. So when I ran out of my Laneige eye cream sample, I decided to give this one a try. And I got it on sale to boot!

Mario Badescu's Glycolic Eye Cream "targets visible signs of aging with our highly emollient, overnight eye treatment," according to the brand's official website. It's active ingredient is glycolic acid which deals with fine lines and wrinkles. I'm already in my late late thirties so I figured this would be something I should try. And try I did.

The cream looks a bit intimidating because of the sheer amount. I though it would take me years to finish this. I got this last January and fast forward six months later, I'm still using it. I already panned it, but there's still a lot of the product tonlast me another few months. I just might end up using this for a year. 😅 Anyway, the cream has this weird oily scent, kinda like the smell of old cooking oil. So I braced myself for a product that may be a little too oily for my liking. 😁 And I was right. Although the cream applied easily, it leaves an oily finish on the area where you applied it. And it stays there. It doesn't dry up or gets absorbed. So I was kinda turned off by that. I was on the verge of throwing it out but decided to use it for a couple of weeks yo see if it will have any effect. If it doesn't, off to the trash it goes.

But since I've been using it for six months now, you can guess that I'm completely satisfied with it. It works. It really does. Continuous use of this product resulted in a bright and fresh-looking under eye area. I used to have fine lines in my under eye area but those are hardly visible now. I also get less puffy eyelids. I was really surprised at the turnout. I really thought it will not work because I thought I got a defective product. 😅

Anyway, this eye cream works. I'm just not crazy about the oily part. But if you don't mind that, you'll see that you have a really fine eye cream that delivers and does what it claims to do. 😉
