This Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Serum was one of the items in the red box I got from Sephora. It was actually the first product in that box that I used and finished. Back then I had a rather bad breakout. So I used this product to help calm my skin and control the breakout.
This was just a deluxe sample but it really went a long way. Like the other Dr. Jart+ product I used before, this exceeded my expectations. The sample arrived in this cute little squeeze tube. I was expecting it to be a cream but it was a liquid product. The liquid was clear and was a bit watery. Itsmelled of herbs that was really refreshing. When applied on the skin, it was really cool and refereshing.
The product was absorbed easily by my skin. At first I thought it will be a bit strong. But it was actually really mild and gentle on my skin. After a few days of using this, my skin started to calm down. The acne was no longer red and were starting to dry. My skin looked brighter and healthier despite the acne. I did not have further breakouts while using this product. I also did not experience any irritation or redness while using it.
I think this product lasted almost three weeks, just long enough to help control my breakout. I have no complaints with regards to this. I was actually thinking of buying the full sized product but stopped myself. I don't get breakouts often and my usual serum works well. I'll just look for an alternative to this one when I have another breakout.
