I got this little packet from a med rep. She was a rep from Galderma and she was covering for Cetaphil products, both the pediatric and derma lines. I was surprised when she gave me the samples because it was a lot. As in there were so many things inside. But when I looked at them, they were near the expiration dates. Like this sample of their Brightening Day Protection Cream. It's expiration date was August 2021. I got this middle of July. I'm not really complaining because that gives me plenty of time to try it out.

I've seen the full size products of this one in drugstores and the thought crossed my mind if I should try it out or not. But because I had a bad experience when I used their lotion on my face (I had a really nasty breakout), I was cautious. I don't want to soend a lot of money on something that will give zits. So I was really glad when I got the samples from the med rep.

The samples also contained the night cream so I was able to try both of them. But I only remembered to take a photo of the day cream. Sorry! Anyway, I didn't get to try both products for long. I think I only tried one savhet each before giving everything away. I had a breakout shortly after using both products. As in big red zits. Both creams also felt heavy on the skin and left a sticky feeling. I feel like it doesn't get absorbed by the skin or it takes an awfully long time. But the breakout really made me decide. I am never going to try them again. Actually, any Cetaphil product for that matter. I recently tried their body wash, the Ultra Gentle one, and I had breakouts in my back, chest and tummy. So I guess Cetaphil priducts isn't really for me. I'm just gonna let this one go. 😁
