I've Seen is a country song written by Tim Foust. It's an original song by the acapella country group, Home Free, to which Tim Foust is a member. It's part of the group's 2014 album, Crazy Life.
Sound:
This song, just like any other Home Free songs, is acapella at its finest. Everything was made without any instruments. The accompanying percussion sounds are made by the amazing beatbox skills of Adam Rupp. The song is a country ballad. It's a bit of a tricky song to perform because you need to really connect with the song to be able to deliver it well.
Impression:
I have been a fan of Home Free from the moment I saw their version of Ring of Fire in Facebook. I started researching about the, and even downloaded their Crazy Life album. I am still in awe at how amazing this group is and to think that they perform acapella every single time.
I've Seen is a powerful country ballad. It is a love song at its finest. And just like any country song, you need to really feel the emotions of the song to be able to convey the message properly. And because Tim was the one who sang lead in this song, it's not a problem for him because he wrote the song.
When you listen to the song, it's easy to forget that it's an acapella song, especially when the percussion sounds come in. You need to watch the video to see for yourself that Adam is the one making all of those sounds. I really wish that this group will become more well known. But then again, not everyone is a country fan.
Anyway, take a look at the video below of the group's performance of the song and prepare to be amazed.
