Here we go again. We have the secretary-general of the UN saying the world is at risk of a famine because of the situation between Russia and Ukraine. I'm sure shutting everything down in 2020 had nothing to do with the situation.
We've seen prices go through the roof again. And, Thursday I posted a video showing limits (aka ration) of certain items. I will share those pictures and videos with you here. There is this move to make the crisis of food shortages political. There is a certain element that is politically related. The decisions, which you and I have to live with the consequences of, can't be separated from food vs politicians. It's not that simple. Also, if food shortages weren't making life miserable enough, there are talks with (MISO) Midcontinent Independent System Operator is talking about 'controlled outages'. In other words, you and I are going to have a very long summer. Let's focus on what we can do to help ourselves and our loved ones. Encourage them to put a little something aside if they can. If they can't financially then try to be ready to help them where you can. As for electric outages, get used to not having an air conditioner. How? Leave your windows open during the day. Have fans running. We have a small ac but we rarely ever use it. It just costs too damn much.
