Spicy Chicken Ranch Pizza is a Papa John's dish. According to the menu, translated by Google in English: "Pizza with a harmony of garlic ranch sauce, grilled chicken, and fresh tomatoes with subtle aroma and taste."

When the pizza arrived, I was surprised to find that the toppings also included bacon bits. In fairness, the website does list bacon as a topping for the pie, but only in a separate tab that needs to be clicked. Although I do like bacon (at least, I did when I used to eat it), and concede that it can make a dish better (usually), I thought that the salty fattiness of the bacon here didn't work well within the otherwise mellow flavor profile. But more important, I was disappointed on principle.
The nature of bacon demands that it be declared up front and out loud when included in a dish, for health concerns and/or religious restrictions and/or culinary principles. Yet another example of how processed meats are now treated in Korea as a basic ingredient, like onion, that doesn't even warrant mention (see for example 13.254 Angela Combi). Stems from the larger issue that processed meats in Korea are not considered at all unwholesome (see for example 12.174 Salmon Avocado Salad).
