Today's Bible Reading-Judges Chapters 3-5.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. I only have a four second delay on my keyboard today. I also had a good night's sleep, so I have a better handle on life today.
Today's forecast: Foggy. Clouds with bits of sunshine. High of 78°. Winds coming in from the southwest at 1-12 miles per hour, with potential for 15 miles per hour. Moderate air quality. Humidity is currently at 99%.
Yesterday was a productive day. The ledgers balanced, the menu came together quickly, the grocery list came together quickly. I was just slow getting around. I overslept and that set me back. I did get most of my list done. I just didn't get the birthday box finished. That's my goal today, besides ledgers and a couple of bills that need paid. Another thing I didn't get was more body scrub. I ran out yesterday, too. That's something I can pick up on Saturday.
Sorry. A bird just flew into my window. Scared the crap right out of me. Okay. I do have a time limit on what I can do today. Tonight is my voting precinct reorganization meeting and I have to be there. I told the Lord this morning, if there's someone who can do a better job, I'll gladly hand it over, but if no one else shows, I'll keep going.
Gracie was quite the character this morning. I woke up around 7:00, and she promptly jumped on the bed and started talking to me. I thought maybe her bowl was empty and she was hungry. Nope. Bowl was half full. I thought maybe she wanted nom noms. Nope. She led me into the living room. She wanted to play. We played about 5-7 minutes and then she was ready for nom noms.
I was thinking. Maybe this summer, I can get my windows replaced. There's only two in my room, but windows are pretty expensive. It'd be nice to open them up, though, and get a breeze blowing through on hot days. Let Gracie lay on the window sill and soak up the sunshine. She used to do that when we were able to open the windows. It was funny. She'd lay flat on her back and just bask in the sun for hours in the window sill.
That's about all I have for now, folks. Supper tonight will be mac and cheese with smoked sausage and peas. In other words, one skillet dinner. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
