Song History:

"Houki Boshi" is a song by Younha. The song was used as the third ending song for the anime Bleach. It was released in 2005 and enjoyed widespread fame in the Oricon Charts.

Sound:

The song is an upbeat song that showcases Younha's piano skills. There's also a nice mix of rock music as shown by the awesome guitar riffs.

Impression:

This song is one of my favorite songs. I remember falling in love with it the first time I heard it on Bleach. I love Younha's voice and how she plays the piano in all her songs. I love how the song seems to fit perfectly in Bleach. The ending MV of Bleach for this song was just awesome. It was the one which featured the captains and vice captains of the Shinigami squad.

Anyway, this is a pretty popular song. I'm pretty sure some of you must have heard it somewhere. If you haven't, I suggest you give this song a listen. You won't be disappointed.

And here's another MV of the song being used as an ending song for Bleach. The video I posted here includes all of the versions of the MV. The anime showed different versions of the MV. Not all 13 squads were featured at a given time. They were separated into several videos. I found this one that compiled all of those versions.
