Today's Bible Reading- Psalms Chapters 40-48.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. I'm quite behind schedule this morning. Our forecast for today: 90°, sunny, 10% chance of rain, air quality is unhealthy (101), medium smoke haze (thanks Canada), winds from the northeast at 9 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 69%.
The air is crazy today. I kind of don't want to go outside, but I have to today. I have a couple of bills to pay and I've just realized I'm out of stamps. Lovely. Also, there are fish to feed, Thelma to feed, and I'd really like to take a look at our push mower. I could probably do that under the canopy outside out of the hot sun.
In other news, I also need to balance the ledgers and I need to renew my fishing license. All the things I just mentioned are on the agenda today. I overslept this morning and I've been slowly getting around.
The fish are doing pretty good so far. They're both getting bigger. Mr. Fishie is about a quarter size larger now than he was, as is his little buddy.
Supper tonight will not be a grillout. We're having pancakes, sausage and scrambled eggs. The pancakes are in the freezer. All I need to do is put them in the toaster. Then I just need a skillet for the scrambled eggs and sausage. Minimal dishes used. Yay!
I still don't know which day Pop will be heading to Gram's, but either way, we'll have food out on Saturday, and Sunday will be meatloaf, mashed potatoes and I picked some green beans from the garden last night. Woo hoo! Nothing like fresh food from the garden. I also have another zucchini. Maybe I could sneak that into the meatloaf. Hee hee.
That's about all I have for now, peeps. I'll try not to over exert myself today. I would like to look at the mower, though. It may just need a simple tune-up. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
