Today's Bible Reading- Ezra Chapters 8-10.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 86°, mostly sunny with some clouds, 30% chance of rain this afternoon, moderate air quality, wind is calm at the moment, and humidity is sitting at 98%.
So, this morning, I rolled out of bed, gave Gracie a good morning pat on the head, and walked over to my window to glance out at nature. What did I see? A bunny rabbit wandering around my back yard, munching on my blueberry plants. Grr. Not the best way to start the day.
On the bright side, I got my laundry folded and put away yesterday. I also fixed the handle on the dresser, and I had enough space to place my dresses in the bottom drawer of the old dresser. I also managed to get a trash bag full of stuff from my room near the bookcase. There had been a box of stuff in front of the bookcase, so I dealt with that instead of dealing with a shelf. I also gave my room a vacuum, watered the garden and watered the flowers.
I'm making progress on the second sock. Unfortunately, the yarn is quite fragile, so I accidentally broke some of it while knitting. I didn't notice it until the next row when I came across a big hole in my work. Bummer. That's okay. I took a needle and some yarn and tried to darn the crazy thing. So far, it seems to have worked. It'll look a little wonky there, but this is an experimental pair of socks. I'm not going to worry about it.
Today, Mom and Pop will be heading out to pick up two more solar panels. It's a day trip, so I'll have the house to myself. That it, unless Mom backs out at the last minute.
It's Wednesday, so I'll be busy with ledgers, I have a few bills to pay, and I need to get groceries.
I really am enjoying the morning, in spite of the bunny eating my plants. I need to find some tomato cages or something to put around the new plants. I don't want the lawn guys to accidentally mow them down.
Gracie is begging for attention, so I'll go for now. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
