The bee hoon was really soft, moist and fragrant, slightly savoury and tasty. The meatballs and tau gwa were also of good standard, tender and tasty. The old school Cantonese porridge was simple but tasty of peanuts, ikan bilis, dried compoy, dried oyster etc., again lightly savoury and fragrant but very layered and drinkable. Everything, including the peanuts were cooked till soft and melt in the mouth.
