Today's Bible Reading- Lamentations Chapters 3-5.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 83°, sunny, no rain, good air quality, winds are from the north northeast at 9 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 82%.
Well, I thought we'd have a bigger showout of rain from Idalia, but it kind of fizzled out in my area. I ended up not going out yesterday because it did rain pretty good all day, but I was expecting a light drizzly day today. Nope.
Because the weather has changed, I'll have to go back and revise my menu. I base my menu on the weather a lot. If it's too hot, I don't need meals that require the oven, but if it's chilly, I can make soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.
It's trash day, and I need to clean Gracie's litter box and fountain. Groceries are on the agenda as well. In other words, catch up from yesterday and regular stuff today.
The fish are doing well. Mr. Fishy is almost at long as my hand now! Their water temperature was 71° this morning when I fed them. Gracie is chilling out on her pillow.
Well, Mom just popped in and requested chili dogs for Labor Day supper, and that led me to revise the menu a bit. Thank the Lord for that! The menu is redone and it's not bad looking at all!
Okay. I need to finish my coffee, balance the ledgers and get my shower and dress for the day. Once that's done, I'll just skip on out to the store. Lord willing, I should be home before 2:00 this afternoon.
