Today's Bible Reading- Ezekiel Chapters 22-23.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 87°, sunny with some clouds, 10% chance of rain, good air quality, winds are currently from the southeast at 4 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 94%.
Well, the groceries are in. I finished to the tune of over $200. Ouch! Things are just getting more and more expensive.
In other news, the gas company was at an abandoned house on the street yesterday. They dug around. I'm wondering if it's going to be demolished. Honestly, it's not worth saving. It'd be better to clear the property and build a new house there. If I had the money, I'd do it, but I have no money, honey. The property has bad vibes, too. A very dark cloud over it.
Also, I have a dilemma today. It's going to be very hot, but I have potential sweet potatoes in the ground that need dug up. I could do it tomorrow, but the forecast at the moment is calling for a rainy day. That's not a good time to dig potatoes. I guess I'll have to see how things go.
At the moment, I need to get the fish fed, showered, dressed, ledgers balanced. . . I'm praying that Pop's paycheck comes in today. I took the buildup of boxes to the recycling center yesterday.
Supper will be sloppy joes. I'm using a recipe from the pressure cooker cookbook. I've got the meat out thawing. Gracie is staring at me from her pillow. Now she's staring at the tv. I have a livestream of a wildlife camera on, and there are a bunch of blackbirds on there at the moment.
So, things are basically normal at the moment. Just waiting on Pop's paycheck to come in so I can start working on purchasing the things I need for the little greenhouse we're going to set up. I think overall, it'll cost in the neighborhood of $800.
That's all for now, peeps. I need to get a move on. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
