Today's Bible Reading- Joel Chapter 3 and Amos Chapters 1-4.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 76°, mostly cloudy with some sunshine, 10% chance of rain, excellent air quality, winds are currently from the east northeast at 11 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 83%.
Well, yesterday did not go at all like I'd planned. It took me forever and a day to finally get out to go grocery shopping, and halfway to the store my stomach started turning. I came back home and it was fine. Go figure. I guess the Lord didn't want me grocery shopping yesterday.
Supper was late last night. I mean, late. Mom and I finally ate around 8:00, I think. I went and bought burgers for all of us. Pop finally got in after 9:15, if I remember correctly. Good burgers, though.
Today, I'll be attempting grocery shopping again. I think this time it'll stick. I have the menu already, and I have the list all ready. I just have to go out and get it. Supper tonight will be something called Pork Pot Orange. It's from the 1976 Betty Crocker cookbook. It's a skillet dish, but if Pop is late again, I'll transfer it to a baking dish and put it in the oven on the "keep warm" setting.
Another place I'd like to go to today is Ollie's. I need to find another coffee filter basket.
Also, the most random thing ever, my windows are rattling like there's a truck outside. I can hear the sound of what sounds like a diesel engine running, but there's nothing out there! My one window was rattling pretty good, so I checked out the windows and even opened the front door to see if someone was sitting in the road or in our driveway. Nothing. I still hear the engine sound, but my window hasn't rattled in a few minutes. Weirdness.
That's about all I have for today, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
