Just some photos from our first leg of our trip. Our aim stopping over in Sing was to fuel up on Asian food. We ate three meals right after the other Finishing up with a Singapore sling. Our next stop was Paris. We climbed the Arc. It was a hard slog as we'd already walked 1 hour in 30C heat to get there. I took this photo only 3/4 of the way up! The views from the Arc. I based us in St Germaine. And Liberte was the local bakery. This place ended up to be our favourite bakery. We tried lots of bakeries whilst we were there but there was only so much one could eat in 4 days We managed to visit the Louvre. Ended up in Versailles with a tour. Had yummy crepes. Went all the way up to Montmarte to see Basilica except my phone died so no photos. My daughter took them with hers. We got around on foot as I was paranoid of pick pocketers plus we saved heaps by not taking the metro. We tried French food. Pate. Duck confit and beef bourguignon. We took a tour.
