Today's Bible Reading- Zechariah Chapters 1-7.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 80°, sunny with a few clouds, no rain, moderate air quality, winds are currently from the northeast at 5 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 88%.
Well, yesterday was a tough day for me depression-wise, but the groceries are in. The menu is made. The great cleanup has begun.
I washed the living room curtains and took down the Christmas garland that's been up for probably 3 years. I know. At first, it was rebellion because I didn't want Christmas season to end. Eventually, it gave way to I just didn't have the energy to get on the stepladder and cut it down. I had it tied onto the curtain rod to keep it up there. I finally did it, though, and I put all my craft stuff away, with the exception of the sock. I'll keep that in the living room for something to do. I took the buckets I'd intended to use for growing potatoes and put them outside with the aquaponics setup.
Side note: I'm a little worried about the fish. I haven't seen them in a few days. The water is pretty murky again, and since the tank is completely full, I can't really see down far enough to see if the fish are doing okay.
Back to the topic. I moved the mat I bought to put our shoes on over to by the front door. I moved one of Gracie's scratch posts over to where the mat had been previously. Um, I put the lemon trees on their caddies, so the caddies aren't in the living room anymore, and I moved the firestarter cubes out to the grill area. I still have a lot to do, but I did also clean the windows.
Today I'd like to wipe down the walls, put the curtains back up, and dust the ceiling fan. Aldi has a deck box for $70. I'd like to go back and get one, but it may have to wait until this weekend. Too bad I don't have an SUV or a van. I could've gotten the box yesterday. Maybe my next car should be a minivan. Hmm. I'll have to think about that one.
Gracie is hanging out with Mom this morning. She woke me up because she was ready for nom noms and she was cold. It's in the upper 50s, lower 60s at the moment. My coffee has gone cold.
I have a lot to do. Supper will be fairly simple. Biscuits, sausage gravy, and scrambled eggs.
Okay. That's all for now, peeps. I need to get around, feed the fish, and get my work started. A lot to do today. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
