Today's Bible Reading- Matthew Chapters 11-13.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 67°, rainy and cloudy, 70% chance of rain, good air quality, winds are currently from the east northeast at 17 miles per hour, with gusts of 27 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 96%.
What a beautiful, fall morning! Overcast, rain, windy. You couldn't ask for a more seasonal day here.
I didn't get a whole lot done yesterday. I developed one of my headaches. It went away as the rain began last night, though. Oo. Today I can try out my new headlights! That'll be nice.
Supper tonight will be, if everything works out, Hungarian Goulash. Another recipe from the 1976 Betty Crocker. It sounds delicious. Not like the recipe I've made before. I made Hungarian goulash a long time ago at a school I worked at. I used ground beef. This recipe calls for chuck roast that's been cubed. That's about the only difference in the recipe, though. So far, the Betty Crocker recipes have been a hit. I'm glad for that. They use a lot of fresh ingredients. Of course, there wasn't so many processed foods at that time.
I'll be making supper early because I have a meeting at 6:30 tonight. Besides the meeting, I have groceries to buy, Mom has a prescription that needs picked up, Mom also has some skirts she had hemmed up that should be ready today as well. A lot to do, especially since supper will take around 3 hours to cook properly. Yikes!
I need to get around. My laundry is finished, thank the Lord. I need to wash my hair today. I'd like to get out as soon as I possibly can to get the groceries. The sooner I get back, the sooner I can get supper started.
That's all for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
