How people in other areas were just living their life. How did some people justify it even. And yet right now, there are many people who don't really care about the barbarism that has gone on in Israel by Hamas. 'Who cares' that doesn't affect me personally. Or carrying on with their lives unaware - heads buried in the sand. In the future when someone writes a story about it, or makes a movie about it, perhaps they will also think about the indifference of people in our time. That is how evil persists. How the echoes of history gets reverberated. Because we think ignorance is bliss. Whereas our ignorance is not just bliss but ecstasy for our enemies and the evil they endorse.
