Most often that not, we are faced with choices to choose either good or bad. Things that would daily test us stare us in the face. If you are reading this, congratulations! You have made it to the 11th month of the year. As we begin preparation for Christmas as well as an amazing time with family, it is important to remember how our year has been and decide to work on what we deem as excesses.
As we carry out a self-audit, one thing that I couldn't seem to shake off has been the question, "have I behaved in a noble manner this year?" Being noble or nobility is not just reserved for royal families. Anyone can decide to be noble. Being noble means honourable, worthy, and upright. Sadly, these are important qualities that seem to be lacking in the world these days. In order to satisfy ourselves, we have worn the veil of green, rubbed our tongues in lies and worn the garment of hypocrisy. Sometimes, it seems like doing the right thing seems so hard but in order to be better people who would in turn make the world a better place, we have to choose to do what is right.
As we begin a new month today, remember that the path to nobility starts with a simple decision: to love someone genuinely, to be more honest, to not break someone's trust, to tell the truth. As we gradually imbibe these qualities, the DianaKolawole team will be here to take you on a worthy journey of various themes.
We are so excited to share what we have in store for you and can't wait to hear all you have to say about it.
Thank you.
