昨日は Gidleigh Park Hotel を１０時１０分くらい前に出発して、家に戻ってくる丁度中間あたりにあるドーチェスターというところにあるカフェで夫の義兄家族（義兄、パートナー、息子）とランチをしました。わたしと夫は BLT サンドにしたのですが、ベーコンの臭みが少し気になりあまり美味しくはなかったです。そして、量が多かったので夜になってもお腹が空かなかったので、ちょっとお菓子などつまんで済ませてしまいました。行きはランチの時間を省いて３時間半くらいで到着しましたが、昨日はお天気が悪く結構雨が降り交通量も多めで、多分合計５時間くらいかかったと思います。
Yesterday, we left Gidleigh Park Hotel around 9:50, had lunch at a cafe in Dorchester, which is about in the middle between Gidleigh Park Hotel and home, with my husband's elder brother and his family (his partner and their son). My husband and I had BLT sandwiches, but the bacon was a bit gamy so I didn't enjoy it. It was quite filling so we didn't feel hungry by the dinner time so just had some snacks. It took us only about 3.5 hours from home to Gidleigh Park Hotel (excluding the time for lunch) but I think it took us about 5 hours from the hotel to home (excluding the time for lunch).
そして、今日の夕食は、昨日の夜デリバリーを手配していたオンラインのスーパーで買ったマークス＆スペンサーズの時々買うチキンとベーコンとマッシュルームのクリーム煮をオーブンで温めて、ご飯とテンダーステムブロッコリーのニンニク蒸し炒めをいただきました。
I had ordered a M & S ready made chicken dish (chicken, bacon & mushroom in cream), which was delivered yesterday evening, so we had that with rice and tender-stem-broccoli (steam stir-fried with garlic).
