The Winter Concert was held at SIS this evening, where DJ played first chair cello.
As always, given a choice of what to eat for dinner afterwards, DJ chose Japanese.
DJ is seated in front (2nd student to the right of the conductor).
Written on the menu in English as "Crabmeat Cheese Egg Rolls," the dish is a Korean-Japanese fusion omelet: Korean in structure (filled with artificial crab and cheese in the middle), Japanese in flavor (topped mayo + okonomiyaki sauce + katsuobushi). Traditional Japanese omelets tend to be simpler in composition (see for example 14.320 Tamago).
