予定通り、10時20分発のフライトでバルセロナに飛び、ほぼ予定通りの時間に到着しました。1時間の時差があるので、午後1時半ごろに到着しました。
We took the 10:20 flight to Barcelona as planned and arrived in Barcelona more or less on time. As there is an hour time difference, we arrived in Barcelona around 1:30pm. I guess it was busier than usual because it's the first day of the Easter Weekend.
空港のパスポートコントロールに長い長い列が出来ていて（夫は英国が今もEUなら並ばなくていいのに、とぼやいていましたが、わたしはEUの列には並べないので結局同じ）、45分ほど並びました。イースターホリデーの初日なので普段より混んでいたのではないかと思います.
There was a very long queue at the Passport Control. My husband was complaining how he wouldn't have had to queue if Great Britain were still in EU, but it would have been the same because I cannot queue on the EU queue and he would have come with me. We queued about 45 minutes, I think. I guess it was busier than usual because it is the first day of Easter weekend.
地中海クルーズは4月1日からですが、2日早めにスタート地のバルセロナに来てホテルに2泊します。バルセロナは初めてなので少し多めに滞在したかったということもありますし、クルーズに乗る当日に着くのはフライトが遅れたりキャンセルになったりした時に大変なことになるので2日ほど早めに出発地で過ごすのがお勧めです。
宿泊ホテルは、Hotel Majestic というホテルにしました。ヨーロッパは、ホテルのお部屋が狭くてびっくり。これでも、一番スタンダードなお部屋より1つ良いお部屋です。メインの観光ポイントまで歩ける距離ですし、ホテルの辺りには普通のチェーン店から高級店までたくさんお店があってショッピングにも良い立地です。今回は荷物に余裕がないのであまりショッピングは出来ないのが残念。
The hotel we are staying at is "Hotel Majestic", it's at quite a good location, not too far to walk to the main attractions and there are a lot of good shops (high street shops as well as designer brand shops) around here. Sadly, we have quite a full luggage so cannot do much shopping.
