Today's Bible Reading- Nehemiah Chapters 9-11.
June's Memory Verse- Proverbs 3:9-10.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 83°, overcast for now with 40% chance of rain, clearing up later on today, winds from the east at 6 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 91%.
It's been a wacky morning already. I woke up to goose honking from my cat. She wanted nom noms. Mom shushed her and I tried to go back to sleep. I just wanted to sleep in a little. She chirped a little, goose honked more and went full speed up and down the hall way. I ended up getting up. It was around 7:00.
I get up, go into the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. She follows me in there and looks at the mouse trap. I decided to pick it up and check it. Sure enough, there's a mouse in there. She was trying to tell Mom the mouse trap had a mouse. That's what all the goose honking and running was about. I put some shorts on because my night shirt is not that long, and I start outside to release the mouse. Oh! It's raining. Okay.
I put a jacket on, I'm taking the mouse outside to release it and on the way I notice that the barn light is flickering on and off. That means the electricity is wonky. It's hooked up to the greenhouse, so the greenhouse is having issues. I release the mouse into the brush at the back of the property and walk over to the greenhouse. The air pump was taking too much electricity and the pump had stopped. I unplug the air pump and the pump turns back on. Fish saved. I also went inside and got the fish food and fed them.
When I came back in the house after getting all that done, it was 7:14. I think it's still drizzling a little. Looks as if it'll be like that until this afternoon. I'm fine with that. The garden is getting a nice drink. Thank You, Jesus!
Goals for today: ledgers, laundry, and I'll have to go get more laundry detergent. I think Aldi will probably be the best place to go. It's close and they usually have what I get.
Gracie seems unhappy this morning. Unsettled. Her prescription for her food has run out, so I need to figure out what to do. A trip to the vet will be pretty expensive. I'll figure something out. I'll probably just bite the bullet and take her in some time this month.
Anyhoo. That's my day. Since it'll clear up this afternoon, I'll be able to grill hot dogs for supper. That's the plan. I was hoping to get some garden weeding in today. I may get it done yet. We'll see. If not today, then tomorrow? Tomorrow is voting day here in my state. We'll see.
That's all for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
