Grandkids thought it was great for her so she could make more cookies for them. It has been well used and even I have made use of it. I don't make cookies but I do make Yorkshire pudding. With the amount of batter I have to make it makes it easier. Using the hand mixer it was 3 batches of batter. The stand mixer makes it all as one batch. I decided to treat myself and buy a toy to make it easier to make my own pasta. I've been making pasta for years, must be about 30 years ago I bought a hand operated pasta roller and cutter. They work extremely well but sometimes a little difficult, you just about need 3 hands. I was looking at Amazon for something else and the pasta attachment for the stand mixer popped up at 36% off. That seemed like a good deal so I ordered it. Sure glad I did, it works better than the hand crank one, cuts better and is easier to clean. Best part is it's easier and I don't wish I had a 3rd hand. Since it was the first time using it I thought I should have my favorite pasta. Shrimp fettuccine Alfredo I think is absolutely the best pasta I have eaten. It's my go to pasta when I want to treat myself. Shrimp my wife doesn't like and Alfredo sauce she doesn't like either so she always just has spaghetti sauce when I make it. Whether you have any sauce you like, fresh made pasta is a thousand times better than dry boxed pasta. Using a food processor to make the dough is a simple 4 minute job. With my new toy rolling it and cutting it is now just as simple. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
