Hey Everyone!
It's the summertime and the kids are home from school and of course they love to eat. Homemade pancakes are always a winner! They are easy to make and a great option for something quick for breakfast time. Every now and then we may buy the box mix, but it's nothing easier than cost efficient than making your own.
Most of the time when the kids know I am making pancakes, they tend to move toward the kitchen to help. My 4 yr old is especially ready at any moment.
These pancakes are so easy to make and very tasty.
Do half of this recipe. This recipe is doubled for more!
- 3 cups of all purpose flour
- 2 cup almond milk
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. baking powder
- 2 tbsp. oil
In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt and baking powder and whisk. Next, add the wet ingredients and mix, but don't over mix.
Grab your skillet and once oil is hot, add batter and let cook until bubbles form on side and then flip and allow to brown.
My kids paired these pancakes with syrup and some fruit. You can be very creative with pancakes by adding fruit, chocolate chips or whatever your taste buds' desires.
What's your favorite pancakes to make?
