Hey Everyone!
Where are the pasta lovers at? Pasta is one of those foods that is very inexpensive and can be paired as a 1 pot meal or even as a side dish. I love a good pasta dish and to add veggies to it to make it healthier as a whole.
In this dish, I used small shells and made my very own cream sauce and used frozen broccoli. This was literally a 30-minute meal and was super easy and my kids loves it. If you have kids that don't like vegetables, try added them to pasta as a great idea!
Ingredients:
- Pasta Shells
- Frozen Broccoli
- Plant Based Butter
- Nutritional Yeast
- Turmeric
- Lemon Pepper
- Garlic & Onion Powder
- Self-Rising Flour
- Boil pasta as directed. Steam broccoli.
- In another pan add butter, then flour and whisk. Add seasonings and whisk. Then add milk. Continue to whisk until get desired consistency. Add more liquid if needed.
- Drain pasta.
- Add broccoli and pasta to cream sauce. Stir to well mixed. Enjoy!!!!
This was a very easy dish and very tasty. You can always be creative with pasta and add so much such as veggies, protein, sauce or even do pasta salads.
