Detox tea

Ingredients

1 cup water

1-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon honey (optional)

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder or a small piece of fresh turmeric

A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

Boil the Water: Bring 1 cup of water to a boil.

Add Ginger and Turmeric: Add the sliced ginger and turmeric to the boiling water. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes.

Strain: Strain the tea into a cup to remove the ginger and turmeric pieces.

Add Lemon and Honey: Stir in the fresh lemon juice and honey (if using).

Add Cayenne Pepper and Mint: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper and fresh mint leaves if you like.

Stir and Serve: Mix well and enjoy your detox tea while it's warm.
