今日も良いお天気！そして、結構暑くなっていています。お天気のアプリでは最高気温２４度となっていますが、我が家のお庭の陰に置いている温度計では２７度まで上がっていますし、ロンドンやその近郊では３０度超えている様子です。３０度を超えるとエアコンがなかったりあまり効いていないイギリスでは、かなり暑い。午後から夫はしばらくパティオに座っていましたが、先ほど、ちょっと涼ませてとクラフトルームに入って来てしばらく涼んでいました。夫のお部屋は２階ですしクーラーもないので、こんな日は暑すぎて使えません。キッチンのお庭側のドアを前回にしているので、クラフトルーム以外全体に家の中が暑いです。ドアを閉めてダイニングのクーラーを入れれば、全体に涼しくなると思うのですが。（お天気が良いので、ソーラーパネルで十分電気は賄えます。）一般のお家でクーラーが入っているところはほとんどないので、たとえ１年に数日のことでも入れておいて本当に良かったと思います。
お天気も良いことだし、ということで、我が家から１５分くらいのところにあるワイン用葡萄畑のある Tinwood Vineyardにランチに行きました。ここには２度ほど行っていて、ピクニック風の小皿をあれこれ、というスタイルで割と美味しいので気に入っているレストランです。
It's a beautiful day today again and is getting quite hot, the highest 24C here but apparently over 30 in London and around London. Above 30C is very hot in England as you don't get aircons that are working well in shops/restaurants. These days many places do have aircons but they are often too weak or stop working when you really need one. My husband was sitting on the patio for a while after we got back but came in my craft room and stayed here for a while to cool down as it was hot outside. His room is above my craft room and has no aircon (there is no room to install one) so it's not really usable on a day like today. We have all the doors of the kitchen to the patio open so the whole house except my craft room is rather warm. I think we should close all the doors and put the aircon in the dining room on to cool down the whole downstairs specially because it's so sunny that the solar panels are generating enough electricity. There aren't many ordinary houses that have aircon installed, I am so so glad we have some even for only a few days a year.
Anyway, as the weather is lovely we went out for lunch to a vinyard called Tinwood Vineyard, which is about 15 minutes from us. We've been here twice before, their system is you put small dishes, bread etc that you want in a wine box, they are sort of picnic kind of food. You cannot have a glass of wine any more, you have to buy a bottle but you can take the left-over home.
左手前からソーセージロール、地理ドレッシング、チキン照り焼き、パスタサラダ（ペストソース）、その上がクスクスサラダ、左にいってポテトとチーズのコロッケ、最後がセロリアックのサラダ。チキン照り焼きはチキンカツにとんかつソースっぽいソースがかかったものでした。セロリアックサラダは酸味が強すぎましたが、パンに挟めば食べられました。パスタサラダは美味しくなかった。ここのフランスパンは美味しいので、３本買って２本は持ち帰りました。ワインは、ロゼのスパークリング。
From left front, Sausage Rolle, Chicken Teriyaki (it wasn't, it was chicken cutlet with some sort of attempted teriyaki sauce), Pasta Salad with pesto (this wasn't enjoyable), above that is Couscous Salad, then to the left, Potato & Cheese Croquet, then Celeriac Salad (it was too sour but I could eat it when I made a little sandwich with French bread). We like their French bread so we bought 3, had just 1 at lunch and brought 2 home. We also had a bottle of Rose Sparkling Wine.
デザート。夫は、ブラックフォレストガトー。わたしは、マフィンにしたらこれはヘビーで美味しくなかったです。
Dessert. My husband had Black Forest Gateau. I had muffin but it was very heavy and not nice at all.
スパークリングワイン35ポンドで、全部でほぼ100ポンド（２万円）。２万円って凄いですよね〜今回、１品くらい多く取った上にデザートを食べたので（そしてマフィンは最悪だった）、余計に高くなりました。でも、イギリスでワインを１本入れて100ポンドというのは、高いけれどびっくりする金額ではないです。ただ、レストランではないのでサービスがあるわけではないですし、レストランと比較して同じくらいになるので高いなとは思いますが、個人的にはロケーション的に特別感がありますしレストランやパブで美味しくないものを食べるよりこちらの方が良い。
The sparkling wine was £35 and in total it was nearly £100, which seems a lot specially in yen. This time we had one more dish than we had before and also dessert so it seems expensive. It's about the same as many restaurants and pubs that we go to and it's not a restaurant as such and you don't get served so I understand if more people feel it's too much. However, personally the food is better than many restaurants and pubs we'd been to and the setting is very nice so I don't mind paying that much.
