今日は、晴れたり曇ったり、な一日でした。でも、比較的暖かくて、夜になっても１９度あります。
It was mostly cloudy with the sun coming out now and again today, but was relatively warm and is still 19C after dinner.
今日の夕食は、野菜のカレー。ベースは玉ねぎやニンニク、生姜を炒めてスパイスを加えて缶トマトを加えて作るのでインド風ですが、その後はスープストックを加えてお野菜を煮て日本のルーを加えるので味はほぼ日本風。入れたのは、玉ねぎ、人参、ポテト、いんげん。美味しかったです。
Today's dinner was Vegetable Curry. I make the base in Indian curry style - sautéing onion, garlic, ginger, then adding spices, then tin tomato. However, I then add soup stock and simmer it until vegetables are done, then add Japanese curry roux - so it tastes like Japanese curry. I used onion, carrot, potato & green beans.
ちなみに、サラダを入れた食器もカレーライスを入れた食器も、最近日本のネットでオーダーして妹に送ってもらいました。「カレーライス」って、こんな感じのオーバル（かオーバルに近い）形で深さがあるものが気分ですが、こういう食器はこっちには売られていないのでずっと普通のお皿で食べていました。こうして盛り付けると日本のカレーという感じがします。そして、食器が可愛い！カレーを入れる前に写真を撮れば良かったのですが、可愛らしいお花が描かれています。食器に限りませんが、日本にはなんでもすごくたくさんなチョイスがあって羨ましい。
The dishes (the bowl for the salad and the plate/bowl for the curry & rice) are what I ordered online in Japan and my sister sent to me recently. In Japan, "Curry & Rice" is usually in this sort of a dish, oval or similar to oval shape and deep, this makes it look Japanese "Curry & Rice". The bowl with curry & rice is very cute, I wish I'd taken a photo of them before I put rice and curry in, there are some cute flower drawings on the bottom. It's not only dishes/bowls but there are so many (uncountable) choices for everything in Japan, that's something I miss.
