Hi friends, welcome back! I'm a week late with my What's Up because Jon and I spent last week relaxing in Nantucket. We ate some delicious food including our daily ice cream, celebrated Jon's birthday, hung at the beach, enjoyed the pleasant weather, and didn't want to leave. The rest of the month was spent trying new recipes and restaurants per usual 🙂
On to my post 🙂 I've been linking up with the first blogger I ever read, Shay Shull, for my What's Up posts. Each month I'm answering the following questions:
What I'm eating: I saw this recipe on YouTube for Vietnamese American Garlic Noodles and it was delicious! Don't be alarmed by the 20 cloves of garlic for 4 servings (we halved the recipe), you won't be scaring the vampires for miles away. We added shrimp to it and there was not one bite left. We'll definitely make this again!
What I'm reminiscing about: our first trip to Nantucket back in July 2021 – it feels like forever ago although I don't miss that tragic tan line on my shins...
What I'm loving: in between the heatwaves we've had some really nice days and I love opening the windows and getting a nice breeze
Favorite post of the month: celebrating our third anniversary
What I'm Up to: not a whole lot, we don't have any crazy big plans this summer so we've just been taking it easy
What I'm working on: writing about our time in Nantucket. I'm excited to finally have multiple things to blog about again!
What I'm excited about: the Olympics! I'm happy the time difference is only 6 hours so I can watch most of the events live
What I'm watching/reading: The Bear, Bridgerton, Owning Manhattan, Curb Your Enthusiasm, golf, and the Olympic trials

What I'm doing this weekend: probably hanging out with our friends
What I'm looking forward to next month: watching the Olympics & going on another food tour
