My second attempt at egg foo young (see most recently 15.228 Egg Foo Young), stuffed with leftover pad gaprao from the the other day (see 15.231 Pad Gaprao Moosap Pakboong).
Structurally, the omelet turned out better this time - didn't crumble.
But the strong Thai flavors in the stuffing, especially the basil, overpowered the delicate taste of egg.
And the sauce, following Jason Farmer's recipe on YouTube (see Chinese Takeout Egg Foo Young Secrets Revealed), which seemed right on paper, was too salty.
