Chicken legs are the part of the chicken I refuse to eat. I know people love them, but I am not one of them. I do eat chicken breast and thighs when I am kind of forced to but not often. Fried chicken and chicken wings I really like mainly because they have some flavour. Even with fried chicken I never touch the legs. My wife on the other hand loves chicken legs. Normally I would of cooked them on the BBQ, but was just to hot. Also we have an air fryer and it does a good job. There is a thing that is needed when cooking chicken legs in an air fryer. It also helps with getting the bbq sauce flavour in them. You need to cut 4 slits the length of the legs. Cut it right down to the bone, this allows them to cook evenly in the air fryer. I skinned the legs because my wife doesn't like the skin. If you're not a chicken skin hater just leave it on. 4 chicken legs BBQ sauce Brush the legs with BBQ sauce and place in the fridge for 2 hours. Preheat the air fryer at 200c. Brush the legs with more bbq sauce and place in the fryer, set the time for 18 minutes. After 9 minutes remove the legs and brush with bbq sauce. Replace them in the fryer with the side that had been up now down. Cook for the remaining 9 minutes. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
