BIBIGO Yangnyeom Chicken Sauce | Review

By Aiko Ish on September 10, 2024

I recently tried BIBIGO Yangnyeom Chicken Sauce, and it was a so good! This Korean-style sauce is perfect for anyone looking for that iconic balance of sweet and tangy flavors with a hint of spice. I paired it with rice and added a sprinkle of white sesame seeds, making it a quick and easy meal that I'll definitely be making again!

Sweet, Tangy, and a Little Spicy

The BIBIGO Yangnyeom Chicken Sauce has a rich depth of flavor, thanks to the fermented gochujang (Korean chili paste) and the cinnamon. I loved how the sweetness was balanced with just the right amount of tanginess and a tiny kick of heat.

I decided to follow the recipe on the back of the packet, but I made a small addition by sprinkling white sesame seeds on top. Trust me, it added the perfect nutty crunch!

Great for Quick and Easy Meals

Making this sauce was so easy. After frying up some chicken, I simply tossed it in the sauce, and it was ready to enjoy. Pairing it with rice made for a comforting, satisfying meal that was perfect for dinner. The sticky sauce clings perfectly to the chicken, ensuring each bite is packed with flavor.

Perfect for Movie Nights

This sauce isn't just for dinner. It is also amazing as a snack! I can totally see myself making a big batch of Yangnyeom Chicken for movie nights. The sauce is just the right balance between sweet and savory, making it a fun dish to nibble on.

Whether it's for dinner or a snack, this sauce makes it easy to whip up something tasty in no time. Plus, the sweet and slightly tangy flavor profile, with a hint of heat, will satisfy any cravings.
