Today's Bible Reading- Ezekiel Chapters 17-19
September's Memory Verse- Acts 5:29
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 81°, partly cloudy, 5% chance of rain this afternoon, winds from the northeast at 6-12 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 81%.
Yesterday was a good day but a tough day. Pop made some real progress on the bathroom. He got the rest of the week off from work, so he spends all day working on the bathroom. We're starting to get the sub floor pieces cut. The water lines have been capped off.
The tough part was that one of the kittens died. I buried it in the back yard under a patch of a pretty vine plant with white flowers. I think one of its siblings isn't far behind. They both have this respiratory thing. I've seen it before. They don't last long if they don't have strong immune systems. It's sad. I wish the cat lady neighbor would realize the pain and suffering she's causing by not getting her cats spayed and neutered.
Today, I'd like to work on the back yard. I need to go to the store and get some oil for the mower. Pop will have to show me how to put it in. Then I can work on it. Mom thought she saw something orange glowing in the compost bin, so I'll have to check and make sure it isn't smoldering.
Lots to do today. The goal with the bathroom is to get the subfloor in today. Pop kept hitting snags yesterday, but I think today we just might do it, Lord willing. This really is going to be a nice bathroom when it's finished. I wonder how big of a cabinet we'll need to put in the back corner there. Hmm. We'll know when everything is done.
That's all I have for now, peeps. I need to go get a sponge bath and head out to get oil for the mower. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
