今日も比較的良いお天気になりました。まだ少し寒く感じますが（最高気温２０度）、明日は２３度、明後日は２４度まで上がる予報。でも、この先２週間のお天気予報で昨日あんなにたくさんあった晴れマークはほとんど消えてしまい、ほとんど曇りと晴れと雨が混在しているマークに変わっています（涙）、どういうこと？
It was quite nice weather today again. It feels a bit chilly (20C max) but apparently it'll be 23C tomorrow then 24C the day after tomorrow! Then it'll go down. However, the most of the sun marks I saw for the weather forecast for the next two weeks have been replaced with cloud with a little sun and some rain marks. How come? Just in one day?
今日は、わたしたちの３６回目の結婚記念日でした。毎年思いますが、１年１年が早過ぎてあっという間の３６年。３６年ってとてもとても長い年月ですよね、驚いてしまいます。とても３６年も経ったとは感じられません。そして、それだけの年月を一緒に過ごしてた今も、夫と一緒にいるのが一番楽しい、少しでも長く一緒に過ごしたい、そう感じられることがとても幸せです。お互いにお互いと出会えたことがどんなにラッキーなことか、よくふたりの間でも話題になります。毎日、感謝する日々です。
Well, it's our 36th Wedding Anniversary today! I think this every year but each year seems to just fly! It really doesn't feel like it's been 36 years since, it always shocks me. At the same time, after such length of time, we feel so lucky and blessed that we are still treasuring each moment we share and also how lucky we are to have found each other. I am so grateful every day.
さて、今日のお祝いディナーは、アランデルの「Parson's Table」に行きました。この辺りでは一番評判が良いレストランだと思います。
We went to "Parson's Table" in Arundel to celebrate today. It's probably supposed to be the best restaurant in the area.
夫の前菜は、サーモンのグラヴァラックス、大根、胡瓜、マスタードディル添え。とても美味しいと言っていました、大根も美味しかったそうです。
My husband's starter was Gravadlux with raddish, cucumber & mustard dill. He said it was very nice including the raddish.
わたしの前菜は、チェストナッツマッシュルームとジロールマッシュルームのヴェルーテ、クレームフレッシュ、マッシュルームのピクルス、チャイブ。普通に美味しかったですが、ベジタリアンの前菜というとどこに行ってもマッシュルームのスープかマッシュルームのリゾットというのがとても残念です。
My starter was Chestnut Mushroom & Girolle Mushroom Veloute, creme fraiche, pickled mushroom, chive, It was good, predictable but good, but I'm sad that if you choose vegetarian it's often mushroom soup or mushroom risotto even in high class restaurants.
夫のメインは、鱈、プリザーブレモンのリゾット、サムファイア。
My husband'smain was Cod with preserved lemon risotto and samphire.
わたしのメインは、ローストカリフラワー、ヘーゼルナッツ、ソルタナ、ケッパー、スクウォッシュ、カボロネロ。
I had Roast Cauliflower, hazel nuts, saltana, caper, squash, cavolo nero.
デザートは、ダークチョコレートとヘーゼルナッツのタルトをシェアーしましたが、夫がほとんどいただきました。
Then we shared Dark Chocolate & Hazelnut Tart, my husband had most of it, it was very rich.
