The arch and dome architecture was introduced by the Arabs in India around the time of Delhi Sultanate. Through centuries, this style has been seamlessly adapted and adopted by the many royal families of India. Case in point being this arched courtyard at the Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur.
Do not forget to zoom in and have a close look at the engraved flower motifs on the arches.
