What to do with all of this extra plastic? Do we save it until we throw them away? Or do we pile them up and not discard them and bring them with us to work or on a vacation to throw out later.
Plastic forks, spoons, and knives are abundant when ordering food. The question is what to do with the extras? Toss or save.
A solution may be to ask customers whether or not they need plastic utensils and offer a small discount. This could save on waste, plastic, and trash.
As humans appreciate the convenience of drive thru, fast and convenient food and meals, the next step is to how to manage the meals, but how to manage the unused plastic utensils that end up in the drawers of consumers or in the trash to never be recycled.
