Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post on ~Foodie with a Passion~! Happy Tuesday everyone and I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend because Hubby and I did! As you read on my Saturday Post last week, we were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary. Alrighty!! So our adventure started on Friday; we drove down south to the next state and enjoyed some tax-free Black Friday shopping. I picked up some Christmas presents and a few things for us and the house. Overall, good shopping trip. When we arrived at our destination, food and drinks were the first thing on our minds.

Hubby - Salmon with Micro Greens over Rice

Day 1 was a success! I got myself a carton of Rosé to enjoy in the hotel room that I took a couple sips from. Spain origin, it was delish!

Day 2 started with a hike and a few wineries. This was from Winery #1; we never went to the second spot I researched but I found another one so I got to taste a couple more wines. Hubby found a cidery that he got to try a few ciders.

Dinner was at a fancy place; the deep fried stuff were off limits for me since they use the same oil for their halibut almandine. That was ok though. I had enough fried foods I really don't want any for a while. Anyhow, they were nice enough to accommodate us and serve us the sautéed calamari that way we still got to enjoy an appetizer.

Hubby took a pic of his dinner and I don't have that one but he had the Beef Medallions and Shrimp for a surf and turf. they brought out 2 free glasses of champagne for us too. I didn't eat any but I got the strawberry on top 🍓

Day 3 we didn't take a whole bunch of pictures and we just enjoyed ourselves. Time to go home back to the kitties 🐱 we did do another hike and saw some waterfalls and nature.
