Title:

"Moves Like Jagger" is a somg inspired by Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones. Just like the phrase, it refers to the moves by Jagger and it's a way of referring to someone acting or having the same attitude as that of Mick Jagger.

Song History:

The song is by Maroon 5 and features Christina Aguilera. It was co-written by the band's frontman Adam Levine. It was released as the fourth single of Maroon 5's third studio album, Hands All Over, back in 2011. It was first performed in The Voice, an American talent show where both Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera were judges.

Sound:

The song is a disco electropop song which used synths and auto tune. Despite using auto tune in the chorus, Adam Levine's voice is still perfection. It has a nice dance rhythm that will make anyone bop and move to the rhythm. It's also a catchy song so it's really no surprise when every radio station played it frequently.

Impression:

The intro of the song was really catchy and it was what made me listen to it. The whistling intro will really get your attention and pique your curiosity. The song was really catchy and the beat so infectious that I foung myself bodding in time with the music. The vocals of Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera mixed well. I thought that Aguilera's vocals would overpower Levine's. But I was surprised at how well their voices blended. And there were no belting, not much anyway, so no overshadowing happened.

This song is one of those songs that's a keeper in any playlist. It's also a peefect dance song to use at parties. So you should always have this song ready in your playlist. 😉
