This week I celebrated my 50th birthday. I spent the day with my family and a group of us went on an Op shopping spree to four Op shops in one area. I found one great book and four lovely tops so it was a fruitful trip. There was a bushfire very close by and we were on a Watch & Act warning on my birthday and it's still on today. A lot of gratitude is owed to all the fire fighters, police and volunteers who do not stop working until the fire is out. I'm deeply grateful to them for keeping us all safe. Luckily I had not long ago reviewed our bushfire safety plan which ensures we know what to do if or when the time arises and we need to enact it. I do need a new box for items we need to take with us but the one we have is okay for now. COVID19 continues in the background like an accompanying soundtrack. I keep up to date by listening to the World Health Organisation updates and our local updates too. I try not to focus on it too much, just a check in as needed.

I got so much love on my birthday 🙂 My family sang happy birthday to me, which they all know I live for! I had a lovely cake and blew out my candles and even made a wish. Mum got me some beautiful flowers and a funny card. I know I say it all of the time, but I need to say it again...I am grateful 🙂 I send good wishes to you and hope there is some sweetness in your life. xo
