Today's recipe is a nice easy one with no shortage of flavour. Let's get to it!
Smoked paprika
Cayenne
Ground cardamon
Oregano
Garlic powder
Ground nutmeg
Mild chilli powder
Cumin seeds
Ground cinnamon
Basil
Sage
Chicken breasts
Taco shells
Balsamic vinegar
Soy sauce
Thyme
Parsley
Method:
The great Wall of chicken
We'll start with the long bit first. I'm using 8 chicken breast fillets so I'm dicing each one and setting them aside. Whilst this is going on I heat up a frying pan on a medium heat.
Once it's all diced, add to the now warm frying pan, no oil required. Whilst the chicken cooks we can do the seasoning. Add to a bowl:
A sprinkle of cayenne
A moderate amount of cardamon
A moderate amount of cumin
A moderate amount of oregano
A sprinkle of basil
A moderate amount of nutmeg
A sprinkle of mild chilli powder
A moderate amount of sage
A fuckload of cinnamon
A fuckload of smoked paprika
A fuckload of garlic powder
A sprinkle of thyme
A sprinkle of parsley
Give all this a good stir to mix the flavours. Add a good tablespoon of balsamic vinegar to the diced chicken and stir through. Add a dash of soy sauce as well and stir the chicken again.
Dump all the seasoning in with the chicken and turn the heat to medium-high. Stir thoroughly so that all the chicken bits are fully coated.
I like my Taco shells to have a little heat so stick them in the oven for a couple of minutes before serving.
