This recipe for Miracle Whip Cake with Chocolate Chip Glaze is one that comes from back in the day - the 1970's, to be exact. My mom made this a lot in the summertime. That was back when we didn't even have air conditioning in our house, but it was still cool enough (most summer days) to heat up the oven long enough to bake a cake. My dad liked a good cake, and it seemed like we were constantly baking and making goodies - all the time, really, but especially in the summertime. Weekends were one big picnic back then. Because we lived on a lake, we were constantly in the water so every meal had to be quick enough for us to get right back in. This is a delicious, moist cake, and I heartily recommend you try it!
