This recipe for Easy Cranberry-Orange Jam is my take on a Susan Branch Cranberry Jam recipe that I made last Thanksgiving. Her recipe has real fresh cranberries baked with sugar and mixed into orange marmalade. I absolutely loved that recipe, but when I wanted to make another batch after the holidays, I couldn't find any real fresh cranberries. I had to improvise, and I think I may have found an even easier way to make the same type of delicious jam. This stuff is perfect on leftover turkey or ham sandwiches, your morning toast, a charcuterie platter (I personally found out it's great with Brie cheese), or even over a piece of pound cake or ice cream. I think Grandma would have loved this ridiculously easy recipe. She came from a large family, and anytime she could save some time, she was all for it. Her only criteria - it had to be delicious. Well this one fits the bill. Bonus - you can make it ahead of time and have it ready to go! I hope you try this one and let me know what YOU put it on!
Here is the recipe as I made it:
Easy Cranberry-Orange Jam
Mix together:
1-14 ounce can of Ocean Spray Whole Cranberry Sauce
1-17.25 jar of Smucker's Natural Orange Marmalade
Put it in a pretty jar to enjoy all during the holidays.
Done.
That's it!

This is truly, the easiest recipe ever. Just 2 ingredients - that's it.

Mix them together and you're done!

I had a pretty jar from another treat (I always keep the pretty ones), so I spooned the jam into that jar.

The jam is so pretty - AND it's in a pretty jar! This stuff is perfect for a lovely hostess gift - or a gift for ANYONE!

The possibilities for this jam are endless! It's so sweet and tangy and delicious - it's heavenly!

I did say that this is great on sandwiches or other treats, but the hostess gift thing is a game-changer. It's so easy to pull together for a last-minute gift for just about anyone. I love that this is another make-ahead piece of the holidays! Make it now and it's ready to go! Then take advantage of the after holiday cranberry sales and make even more! See canned cranberries on sale - pick up a couple of cans for last-minute gifts or make some for the weekend. You can keep the cranberries and marmalade in the pantry for whenever you might need a little somethin'! What will you put it on? I know you'll love how this Easy Cranberry Orange Jam perks up your sandwiches or desserts.
