I love looking back on photos of my cats, especially when they were kittens. I still can't believe how much they've grown. They used to fit in the nook of my arms but now they're great big bundles of energy and eating machines.
Anyway, this was a photo of our Princess Yuki. She was around two months old this time. This was during her first bout of conjunctivitis. And because it happened at the height of COVID-19, our vet was not yet holding face-to/face clinics then so I had to send photos of her to the vet. I thought Yuki would give me a hard time. But she was well behaved and I managed to get some decent photos. If I had known any better, I'd say she was posing on purpose.
Yuki is now all grown up and well. She's the most beautiful, most lady-like and fluffiest out of all her siblings. She still has bouts of conjunctivitis every now and then. In fact, she had one a couple of weeks ago. She was the runt of the litter and had a severe eye infection a few days after birth that her eyes have become sensitive and prone to infections. That's why she's our princess, she needs special care. But we still love her just the same.
