Today's Bible Reading- Philippians Chapters 1-4.
Good early morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 49°, 90% chance of rain, and air quality is back in the green!
I've been up for about 30 minutes. Gracie realized I was half awake and decided that if she was up, I was up. She's had nom noms, some play time, and I think she may have gone to bug Mom. Not sure on that one.
Yesterday was an exhausting day. I was awake at 2:30 in the morning, 3:30, 4:30, 4:40, 4:50, and then I just decided to get up. My body was trying not to oversleep because the roast had to slow cook for six hours. If I lived normally, I wouldn't mind having a late dinner, but Pop has to leave by 2:00 in the afternoon to get back to the RV. Therefore, I'm on a bit of a time crunch to get dinner done.
It turned out halfway decent, though. The meat wasn't tough, the carrots were delicious. I could've done better on the mashed potatoes, but by that point, I was ready for bed.
Today's goals: LAUNDRY! I have a pile of it, and I also need to change my sheets. I definitely need to change my sheets. Gracie's greasy nom noms have stained them this past weekend. I also dropped some on them this morning. It just slid right off my finger. They must be adding too much oil to the batch. I've never seen her nom noms so greasy before.
Laundry is basically my only goal today. It's Monday. I also need to balance ledgers. I probably need to find Pop another gift. Not sure what it could be. He has everything.
Okay. I have a cup of coffee. I need to read my Bible and get my day started. The sooner the better. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
P.S. Tonight's supper is a sweet and spicy orange chicken with rice. I was supposed to have broccoli with it, but since Mom can't have broccoli, I'm using sugar snap peas (because I couldn't find snow peas).
