I was never one for lotions. I never liked the greasy feel some lotions leave on your skin as well as the strong scent some has. But ever since the pandemic began, one thing I truly appreciated when it came to skin care are hand creams.
Because of the constant handwashing and use of alcohol, my hands have become so dry. I started using hand creams and it worked wonders. The current hand cream I'm using now is this one from St. Ives. It's a bit pricey but I've always trusted St. Ives products when it came to skin care. There are several variants to this hand cream but I picked this Vitamin E and Avocado variant. My hands have become so dry lately because of the cold weather so I figured I could do with some heavy duty moisturizing.
The hand cream is really pretty to look at and the size is just right. It can fit in my pocket for easy access. It has a subtle scent that I couldn't quite place. I thought it would smell of avocados but it doesn't smell like one. But I like the scent because it's hardly noticeable. I also love how the cream doesn't feel sticky or greasy after applying it.
My hands have greatly improved after using it for a few days. I'll keep on using it until I run out. After that I'll try the other variants to see which one would work best for me.
