Our last meal in town was to try Wild Orchid Bistro. They're an Asian fusion restaurant, with a menu that's 100% gluten free, located inside of the Silver Creek Lodge.

Hours.

We dropped in on a slow Tuesday (5:00pm) for an early dinner. Service was friendly and helpful. My sister brought in a bottle (corkage fee is $20.00).

The menu consists of soup & salad, tempura, sushi, tapas, mains and desserts.
Gin & tonic ($7.00) - surprisingly a normal priced G&T.
Shrimp tempura ($9.00)
You only get four small pieces. Not worth it.
Chicken karaage ($12.00)
A touch salty but the karaage was moist.
Atlantic lobster roll ($16.00) and softshell crab roll ($15.00)
Softshell crab roll was better than the lobster roll. Avocado was fresh.
Wild fish and chips ($25.00)
Two pieces with fries and a corn/onion/carrot side. Decent but the fish lacked a crunchy batter.
Crispy ginger bites ($17.00)
We opted for the beef. Nice bite with a slightly sticky sauce.
Chili sesame tofu ($10.00)
Standard fare.
Crunchy salmon roll ($13.00)
Best of the rolls that we ordered.
Beef tataki ($15.00)
Slices could have been cut thinner.
Negitoro roll ($11.00)
Big rolls but the quality is so-so.
Spicy tuna roll ($14.00) - again, large sized rolls. Tuna didn't have much flavour.
2x Taste of curry ($22.00)
Chicken curry with brown rice, aloo tikki and a pineapple chutney.

Had a taste; good flavour and portion.
Sticky treacle pudding ($11.00)
Came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The treacle was delicious and the sauce wasn't too sweet. A good shareable portion.
If you're GF, WOB is a great spot to grab food. Don't expect a specialized sushi spot and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
