Hi friends, welcome back! Jon and I are home from Italy and it was everything we dreamed of and so worth the wait. We already miss our almost daily gelato, the peacefulness of Positano, the charm of Florence, and the amazing sites in Rome. We didn't want to leave, but it's always good to be home and get back into our routine (and do laundry!). The in-flight entertainment didn't work on the way home, so that gave me plenty of time to start clicking away on my blog posts and I can't wait to share all about our trip soon!

On to my post
I've been linking up with the first blogger I ever read, Shay Shull, for my What's Up posts. Each month I'm answering the following questions:

What I'm eating: our Rome hotel was right above the famous gelato shop Giolitti, so we went there four or five times on our trip. My favorite was the salted caramel and dark chocolate (it tasted like brownie batter) with a little cream on top. Jon liked the Nutella the best.

Now that we're back I've been loving my fruit salads. Luckily my watermelons have been good so far because it's a lot of work to carry a big watermelon home.

What I'm reminiscing about: I moved to NYC in May 2018, so I've officially been here for 5 years! Time sure has flown by.

What I'm loving: being able to travel internationally and cross off places that have been on our bucket list for years.

Favorite post of the month: Ciao from Italy!

What I'm Up to: getting back into a routine.
What I'm working on: my Italy series. I was even better prepared this trip and did an outline of all the must see pieces in museums, significance, and history before our trip, so hopefully that will speed along the blog writing process.

What I'm excited about: going through all the pictures on my memory card from Italy! (The pictures in the post today are all unedited iPhone pics)
What I'm watching/reading: we finished Succession and I didn't love the ending, but I'm glad we caught up in time to not have it spoiled. We're also watching Working Moms, Barry, and are just starting Queen Charlotte.
Books I read this month:
- Marlowe Banks, Redesigned by Jacqueline Firkins
- The Layover by Lacie Waldon
What I'm doing this weekend: we have no plans at the moment, probably going out to eat
What I'm looking forward to next month: we're seeing Ed Sheeran in concert. We went to his last concert in 2018 and he was amazing live!
What are you looking forward to in June?
